EVANGELOS HONDROUDAKIS - east meets west

Evangelos is an Australian-born Greek with a rich, multifaceted Asia Minor (where East meets West) cultural heritage.
He is a Composer, a Producer, Lyricist, Arranger, Creative Director and most of all, an Ikonoklast.
Add to that formally trained artist and published author and in keeping with his genetics, a philosopher...well kind of.
His name comes from the classical Greek meaning ‘good word’. Hence his work comes with a message propelled by a backbeat.
Everything about him stems from words and pictures.
Evangelos is anything but orthodox yet sees the value of orthodoxy, the lessons of history and tradition; a dichotomy and a paradox, both with respect and irreverence, always asking why, regularly engaging the Overton Window long before the window was flung open, it has been said!
That’s the ikonoklast in him.
He observes life through a unique lens.
He sees himself merely as a chronicler reporting on a scene with a deep passion for backstories, writing about those things that concern us all that appear to be evermore prevalent.
In spite of that his work frequently ends on an upbeat note.
There’s always a place for optimism.
Evangelos’ observations are the inspiration for the
‘Journal From The Pale Blue Dot’.
